The Hospitality, Hotel, and Restaurant Organizing Council (HOTROC, AFL-CIO) will be having a Labor Peace Rally on Saturday, October 7, 2000 in front of the Ritz-Carlton hotel on Canal Street at 6:00 p.m.

We anticipate about 60 participants from local labor organizations, churches, and other community groups to all take part in the action.

The issue of Labor Peace must be resolved in order to ensure that local hospitality workers get good jobs and that their rights remain protected.
